Be an artist right now! Ted talk reflection

The artist talk emphasizes the value of accepting our creative impulses and giving ourselves permission to express ourselves creatively. When we're young, it comes easy to us to express ourselves artistically through storytelling, dancing, and sketching. But as we get older, cultural expectations tend to stifle our creative urges and instead emphasize productivity and usefulness. When we have negative or envious artistic impulses, we could live vicariously via the artistic endeavors of others or criticize performances. Art should not be restricted to a small group of people; rather, it should be a tool for happiness, self-expression, and self-discovery. It releases us from external validation or substances like alcohol or drugs and enables us to access our deepest feelings and ideas. The speaker makes a point of saying that we should be fearless in pursuing our dreams and desires without hesitation. Painting a picture of a future where we can freely explore and express our artistic inclinations alongside our other duties and obligations is what it means to have many identities, such as being an artist. We should not allow other people's views or criticisms to stop us from pursuing our artistic goals.
